We are planning on taking a cruise for this summer. Need suggestions on Early-late July early august ?
Eastern or Western Caribbean? Excursions, Which are worth it? We are 5 so I think we have to go with Carnival, and since our oldest son has summer classes we need to do a 5 day.

I have cruised with Carnival before, and really enjoyed the onboard activites (even the silly ones like playing "Win, Lose, or Draw" and "The Amazing Race" where they paired us up on a scavenger hunt around the ship.)
I am considering a 8 day Royal Caribbean Alaskan cruise, and am wondering if there are fun things to do on days at sea. An Alaskan cruise would be too cold to lay by the pool. I need to do something other than waste money in the casino!

We just finished our first cruise with Carnival last week and are thinking about taking another cruise this winter. Does Carnival offer a discount for prior cruisers. I have also cruised with Royal Caribbean twice. Thank you!
